When I first started practicing yoga, I saw it as a slightly different and more interesting way of exercising that helped me get rid of chronic back pain, get stronger and more flexible. But the more I practiced yoga, the more it offered me – I started to reflect more on what my priorities were, where I wanted to get to in life, I became happier, and overall felt so much better physically and mentally.
Now, yoga is a part of my life without which I cannot imagine my day-to-day life. It’s in all I do: in how I communicate with my friends and people around me, how I pay attention to environment, how I plan my days, what I look for in life, what interests me and I could go on and on.
Even more, I now want to share my knowledge and experience with others. I believe that some have misconceptions about what yoga is and I’d like to try to change that. Maybe not all at once, but if I made an impact on even a few people, I would’ve achieved my goal.
