Have you ever experienced something new, weird, odd, interesting, something that you've never experienced before or something that only takes shape once I'm blue moon if not less often? Well, something like that happened in my practice today. It wasn't the first time, but it was one in a veeeeeeryyyyy long time. I lifted into a sirsasana (headstand) and was showered with a feeling of weightlessness. One of the thoughts that came to me was that finally I found that perfect point of balance again! Finally! But somehow it was more than that... I literally felt like a feather or a butterfly - absolutely weightless, gracious and free. Unfortunately, reality together with gravity reminded me that I'm no butterfly by a long shot. Luckily, my muscles were prepared to get back to reality and take over all the work.
I wonder whether anyone else has experienced anything like it as well. If yes, how would you describe what this is? How do you experience this more often? How do you hold on to that feeling?
